Patient Guide

Visiting Hours
  • Daily Morning  11.00 am to 12:00 noon and  4:00pm to 5:00 pm
  • Sunday and hospitals holiday  11am to 12 Noon
  • In certain cases visitors may be denied permission to see the patient (depending on the condition of patient) even during the visiting hours. This is in the interest of the patient’s medical recovery.
  • It is compulsory that 24 hours one person is available with the patient  except  in ICU Casualty, HDU, IBU, NICU Etc
  • Please note in the In the interest  of patient, not more than one person will be allowed to be with the patient in  all the classes / wards at  any time of the day except during visiting hours. (in emergency, two  person will be allowed).
  • Two passes (Yellow card for attendant) and Green card for visitor are issued for each patient (this can be change if the management feels necessary).
  • Patient relatives & attendants are advised to display their passes.
  • In case any loss of passes Rs 50/- will be charged per pass.
  •  Passes need to be submitted at the time of discharge at the billing counter.
  • Personal toiletries like soap, bath towel are provided only in private / deluxe ward.
  • We request the relative of the patients strictly not to sleep on the bed of their admitted patient or any vacant bed in the ward. Kindly note that the patient will be charged in case his / her relative occupies any vacant bed.
  • Kids small baby up and all of 7 are not allowed.
  • It is duty of patient relatives / attendant to supports for maintain good hygienic / clean environment inside the hospital.
  • Patients relatives / attends are requested, yours  and other admitted patients medical care is very important to us, Kindly keep cool & warm environment for any issue / Bottle neck and  discuss with our counselor / Customer care team.
  • Our billing Executive / Ward Coordinator Can ask for regular advance payments. Kindly supports him / her for payment, for continuity of medical care.
  • Outside food is not allowed in the hospitals ward as we provide food  to our patient under strict guidance of our dietician.
  • Patients relatives are requested not eat will the patient in the ward in patient’s THALI .They are requested to take their meal in cafeteria only.
  • Patients are advised “NOT TO KEEP ANY VALUABLES WITH THEM IN THE WARD” Hospitals is not responsible for any theft  or loss.                                                                                         

Damage to the property

  • Any damage caused to the hospitals property by the patients or their relatives will be recovered from them as per the assessment done by the hospital management.
  • No credit facilities except for corporate tie up / TPA patient. Kindly make spot payment for all types of operation, investigation, medicine etc.
Chemist (Pharmacy)
  • Chemist shop is situated on the ground floor. Providing original pharmacy bill is necessary to receive refund of money against return of medicine purchased only from hospitals pharmacy. This refund will be provided between 3.00pm to 5:00 pm for admitted patients.
  • Only discharged patient will receive refund on returning of medicine from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. As per policy we don’t allow outside medicine in our hospitals (for quality care).


  • Mobile phone is prohibited in the wards
  • For any assistance you may contact Sister / sister in charge in the ward.
  • In case  of any difficulty or suggestion you may kindly approach department costumer Relation.
  • We respect our staff and their protection in our duty. Therefore any kind  of proven misbehavior with the hospitals staff by the patient or their relatives will lead to the discharge of the patient and appropriate legal action will be taken if necessary.

Medico  Legal Case
Cases of accident, assault, burns, poisoning, history of fall, sudden unconscious, Death Within 24 hrs of the admission, brought dead (unknown), electric Shock, drowning etc. Will have to informed to the local police as per government law. In above case if the Death occurs then the body has to be sent for post mortem at  the Govt Hospital Haldwani.

Medical Records

As per guideline of Hon’ble Supreme Court hospital has to maintain the medical Record for the benefit of the patient and for medico legal cases. Hospital has right to retain all the original documents, Investigation report / including  all types x ray, CT MRI, ECG etc to submit in court in case of any issues. Patients / Immediate kin can collect all the photocopies of of document / Investigation after proper application duly signed by Medical superintendent.
